Be a True Original

In a world exploding with art, it's not always easy to be an original. How do you make art that reflects your own inner vision? This workshop involves part personal exploration, part hands-on artmaking, part storytelling, part meditation, and part notetaking as a road map to authenticity. People will play with clay and explore several working ideas; and at program's end will create a St. Brigit's Cross, their own personal talisman to take with them on their journey to authenticity. The presentation also includes handouts on spiritual and practical ways to access that creative fire, as well as reading resources for future study.

The workshop is geared toward anyone, from working artists in any visual/performance area to creative people in fields other than the arts.
