A Basket of Blessings”, a perpetual calendar for artists and other lovers of the spirit, can be used year after year. Each day celebrates your goodness and worth through the humble basket, which has been a carrier of our culture around the world, back almost to the beginning of time. Affirming the beauty and grace of all of us is a very basket-like thing to do. Part of Proceeds to Great Basin Basketmakers scholarships.

Cards

Five different images of woven basket figures (which I have called “SheVessels”) appear on each blank 4 x 6 card, and those images are described on the card’s back side.

A synopsis:

  • “Ceremony Woman is the Spirit Keeper who teaches us how to connect with our basic aliveness….”
  • “She who Remembers brings us back to the mysteries and memories of our instinctive lives….”
  • “First Woman” tells of our goddess beginnings at the dawn of civilization,
  • “Rainbow Woman awakens our potential by circling the disharmony and washing it away….”
  • “Storyteller” is the teacher who teaches without pointing a finger….”

Each card’s back also says:
“The vessel holds the old, old woman-memories waiting to be stirred back to life. Many among us continue to dig in the runs of the ancient sacred women, bringing them forward to the here and now, as we seek memory and message. We are, after all, the ones we have been waiting for.”

$5 for each packet of five cards.
